Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 4 Driver to join the transport and logistics team in Cromwell, Otago, New Zealand. Job Title

Class 4 Driver.

Responsibilities

• Make sure that deliveries and pickups are safe and on schedule all around the central Otago region.
• Load and unload freight safely to reduce the chance of harm.
• Follow all business and legal safety rules when driving.
• Always scan and handle freight correctly.
• Follow all of the rules and procedures for health and safety at work.
• Keep your car clean and tell someone right away if you see any problems.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, team members, and consumers.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and customer service requirements.
• Do daily vehicle pre-checks and let people know what you notice.
• Help out at the warehouse when needed.
• Ensure correct use of lifting and safety equipment.
• Participate in training sessions and toolbox meetings.
• Maintain compliance with DG and OSH requirements.
• Uphold the company’s environmental and operational requirements.
• Represent the firm professionally at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of driving experience in New Zealand preferred
• Experience operating heavy vehicles for delivery or transport purposes

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and routes
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent time management and reliability
• Sound understanding of safety protocols
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness

Knowledge

• Familiarity with New Zealand road regulations
• Competence in using digital scanners and tracking tools
• Understanding of Dangerous Goods handling procedures
• Awareness of local delivery routes in Queenstown, Cromwell, Wanaka, and Alexandra
• Knowledge of basic vehicle fault identification
