Responsibilities

  • Sort and grade mangoes to match quality standards.
  • Pack fruit carefully to avoid bruising or damage.
  • Keep up with the fast pace of the packing line.
  • Help with general shed tasks like cleaning and setup.
  • Pitch in with harvest duties when needed.
  • Follow safety rules to keep the workplace hazard-free.
  • Check mangoes for defects and report issues.
  • Stack packed boxes for transport.
  • Work alongside the team to hit daily quotas.
  • Keep work areas clean and tools in order.
  • Handle long shifts, including overtime, during peak season.
  • Ensure consistent quality for market-ready mangoes.
  • Assist with loading packed fruit for delivery.

Requirements

Education

 No formal degree required; a Certificate II in Agriculture or Horticulture is a plus.

Experience

1-2 years in packing, farm, or harvest work. Applicants with 1-3 years of relevant experience showing solid skills will also be considered.

  • Quick hands for sorting and packing fruit.
  • Strong work ethic to see the season through.
