Responsibilities
- Cut lawns nicely and even to keep them looking sharp.
- Neaten up edges around paths and flowerbeds for a crisp finish.
- Clear leaves and muck off driveways with a blower for that tidy look.
- Trim back bushes and hedges to keep them in good nick.
- Yan out weeds by hand or with a tool to stop them from taking over.
- Gather up clippings and branches for green waste pickup.
- Blast patios or walls with a high-pressure hose when needed.
- Give tools and gear a once-over and flag anything worn out.
- Stick to NDIS rules for safety and client respect at every home.
- Have a yarn with clients to figure out what they want for their garden.
- Keep the work van clean and ready for daily rounds.
- Drop off green waste at the right spots around Adelaide.
- Lend a hand with planting or spreading mulch if clients ask.
- Jot down what you’ve done each day for the team leader’s records.
- Tackle small fixes like patching up garden borders or stakes.
Requirements
Education
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (must have).
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate (must have).
Experience
Hands-on experience as a gardener, with a track record to show.
Skills
- Decent fitness for bending, kneeling, lifting, and reaching.
- Keen eye for getting lawns and edges just right.
- Good time management to zip between client homes.
- Friendly chat to connect with NDIS clients and understand their needs.
- Dependability to show up and deliver what’s promised.
- Quick thinking to sort out minor garden hiccups.
Knowledge
