Responsibilities
- Replenish shelves to maintain full stock availability.
- Assist departments by preparing requested stock items.
- Help pack customer purchases efficiently and politely.
- Report any product damage or shortages to the supervisor.
- Safely receive and organize incoming stock on pallets.
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for distribution.
- Participate in inventory checks by performing stock counts.
- Keep the shop floor clean and organized at all times.
- Collect trolleys from parking areas and arrange them for customer use.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to customers.
- Support other shop tasks as directed by supervisors or department heads.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
High school qualification or equivalent.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in retail, warehouse, or similar shop floor environments.
Skills
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual stock tasks.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with manual handling procedures.
Knowledge
- Understanding of stock movement and inventory processes.
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards in a retail environment.
- Experience with palletized stock and racking systems is preferred.
- Awareness of product labeling and storage practices.
- Basic knowledge of order picking procedures.
