Job Title
Packaging Operator
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machines and make sure everything runs smoothly
- Help assemble and disassemble equipment when batches change
- Run tests before, during, and after production
- Take the lead when the Technician or Unit Head is away
- Keep detailed paperwork and ensure all required records are filled
- Report equipment issues and assist with routine checks
- Stay in line with GMP rules and safety standards
- Join in improvement meetings and follow through on team plans
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Must have a Secondary V diploma or equivalent
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably in pharma or manufacturing
Skills
- Can handle repetitive tasks with focus
- Knows how to work with machines
- Comfortable stepping into a leadership role when needed
- Clear communicator
- Able to spot issues before they become problems
- Great team attitude
Knowledge
- Good understanding of GMP procedures
- Familiar with production documentation
- Knows how to use metric system
- Some basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Understands the importance of health and safety
- Can identify color variations and has steady hands
