Responsibilities

• Take over shift tasks from the previous team and follow through on pending activities.
• Assign daily tasks to helpers and warehouse support staff for optimal efficiency.
• Track and double-check all stock received or issued via WMS.
• Ensure accurate loading and offloading based on system reports.
• Adjust delivery schedules in the system and update any changes.
• Verify physical stock against WMS data and report discrepancies.
• Maintain proper hygiene protocols and complete relevant checklists.
• Coordinate with forklift drivers for rearranging and following FIFO principles.
• Check for incorrect labels, missing items, excess inventory, or empty pallets during loading.
• Complete daily stock counts and update reports for inventory control.
• Monitor equipment condition and arrange for maintenance as needed.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers with full notes on pending work or issues.
• Support EHS and QFS compliance during operations and follow all company procedures.
• Assist with order preparation and invoicing when required.
• Respond quickly to issues in the warehouse that could affect delivery timelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

High school certification required.

Experience

• At least 2 years in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment.
• Experience in FMCG or labor-intensive industries is preferred.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of warehouse systems and documentation.
• Strong task coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of handling pressure and multi-shift work.
• Ability to lead or manage a team of helpers effectively.
• Skilled in real-time issue handling and communication with storemen or supervisors.
• Good planning and time management mindset.

Knowledge

• Understanding of FIFO and warehouse flow.
• Familiarity with WMS or other stock systems.
• Awareness of EHS and safety protocols in storage areas.
• Basic equipment handling and PIT license (advantage but not mandatory).
• Strong communication in English or Arabic for clear coordination.
• Awareness of hygiene requirements and maintenance procedures in warehouse setups.
