Construction Projects Assistant OceanaGold New Zealand

OceanaGold Corporation

Looking for someone handy to jump into a Construction Projects Assistant role out at the Macraes mine in Otago. It’s a full-time gig. The job’s got a 9-day fortnight setup — 7am to 4:30pm — and you get a 3-day weekend every second week. Work includes repairs, checking infrastructure, laying pipes, bit of earthworks, and helping with minor maintenance. You’ll also be using machines now and then, nothing too crazy. They want someone who knows their way around gear and isn’t shy about getting into the practical stuff. Having a trade cert is a plus, but it’s not a dealbreaker if you’ve got experience and you’re quick to pick things up. You’ll need to have a full licence and be good with working on your feet. Must be legal to work in New Zealand.
