A company based in Doha is hiring for a full-time accountant role. This job is on-site and meant for someone who already lives in Qatar. The responsibilities aren’t anything new to an experienced finance person—daily entries, report preparation, reconciliations, and handling audits are all part of it. You’ll be expected to manage your work with minimal supervision and know what to do when the numbers don’t add up. This isn’t the type of job for someone just getting started; the company wants someone who’s been in accounting for a while and understands the routine. At least five years of hands-on accounting experience is required. A degree in accounting or finance is expected, and you’ll also need to be certified—CPA, CMA, or CFA is fine. You’ll also need to be fluent in both Arabic and English because some of the reporting and communication will happen in both languages. Comfort with Microsoft Excel and Oracle ERP is also a must, since both are used regularly in the role.

About Company

The employer hasn’t made its name public, but the job comes from a known organization with a solid setup in Doha. From what’s been shared, it’s clear this is a stable business that follows a structured approach, especially in finance. The company handles internal audits seriously and expects all financial reporting to be prepared on time and with accuracy. The team this accountant will join seems organized, and there’s already a system in place to guide the work. Although no company website or industry name has been provided, the role seems to be in a secure and professional environment where finance work is treated with importance.
