Responsibilities
- Cleaning up shared areas hallways, lounges, that kind of thing.
- Grabbing the vacuum and hitting the carpets when needed.
- Bathrooms and kitchens? Yeah, those too they need to be wiped down properly.
Take out trash from rooms and place it in proper disposal. - Restock cleaning carts and let your supervisor know when supplies run low.
- If someone moves out, their space needs a full clean before the next person moves in.
- Safety gear’s provided just make sure you wear it right.
- And when you’re done for the day, tools go back clean and where they belong.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or similar is preferred.
Experience
- Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.
- Some understanding of cleaning tools and how to use chemicals safely.
Skills
- Can work without constant supervision.
- Comfortable speaking with staff and residents.
- Moves quickly but pays attention to detail.
- Handles tasks calmly and patiently.
- Follows instructions and adapts when needed.
Knowledge
- Knows how to clean various surfaces and use cleaning products properly.
- Understands basic safety protocols in a work setting.
- Familiar with general housekeeping in residential or senior facilities.
